Oswald Tieberghien Ceramics : 1950's Plate

We simply love this Tieberghien plate, no need to explain why...
Early Tieberghien pieces, like this one, are very rare and hard to find...
Hand formed and decorated in the late 50's.
Although he used lots of red and orange glazes during the 60's and 70's,
purple, lilac and pink are his favourite colors.

Oswald Tieberghien. 1960's Plate with Tribal Decor

This plate is a one-off-a-kind piece.
The tribal-like decor is a good example of Tieberghien's work and endless imagination...
In detail, it almost looks like an abstract painting.
Perfect condition, signed.

Multicolored Perignem Vase. Decorated by Johan Nyssen. 1960's

It always was Laurent Vandeweghe who first applied the glazes,
this one in a spray-on-graphiti style. Then one of the Perignem artists finished it with a carving-or sgraffito decor . This decor done by Johan Nyssen in his own recognizable way...
One-off piece from the 60's.

Perignem : Decorators Workstation

This "tool" was developed as help and support for decorating vases.
It was custom made for Perignem in the early 50's and used for many years.
The heavy foot is a recycled truck part...
This particular one was used, and signed, by Johan Nyssen.
